Air Play Ground,
An instalation featuring Michele Thursz Exhibition's "Pattern: Modernism as Mediator". Air Play ground is a sound installation where fm frequencies are manipulated to broadcast a voyage in Istanbul through music entertainment and living soundscapes. A Journey stimulated by shifted outcome of the city’s daily music imprints. The “Air Play ground” hits a gathering of portable radios: home fm, hifi systems, radio boom box etc. relaying a dismantled arrangement of urban noise, landscape recordings, sound movement, music and songs, in a system set up to mock-up the daily, to play with its Beauty , its saturated scenery of radio use.
Air Play ground is a way to unfold GLOBAL HEART ME ’s work in Istanbul within a singular exhibition context, where to experience and celebrate an new area shifted from global cultures assets in transit through Istanbul’s esthetics and drives. Borusan Art Center |
